In June 2001, The Greyrock Institute: Reading and Writing the Rockies provided a week-long celebration of literacy in the Rocky Mountain West. The Institute sponsored a series of free public readings by nationally known writers Linda Hasselstrom and Linda Hogan, featured local writers Leslee Becker, Judy Doenges, and Bill Tremblay, and provided a series of reading and writing workshops that required enrollment.
