S.E. Hinton wrote The Outsiders when she was seventeen. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes wrote In the Forests of Night when she was thirteen. Christopher Paolini wrote Eragon when he was fifteen. So what's stopping you? In this hands-on workshop, we'll look at some examples of great books for teenagers, books that show that adolescence is ripe for literary inspiration. We'll do a series of writing exercises to help you flesh out your own ideas, and we'll talk about the basics of publishing and how to submit. If you think you've got a novel inside of you, then set your goals and get to work. Make it happen!
